Epilepsy Update Year 2010

Registration Form
The
Epilepsy Support and Information Centre (ESIC) has organized so far,
five successful workshops for health care professionals, from the year
2001 until 2009. CME hours are accredited for each workshop.
The main objectives is to develop epilepsy treatment skills for the
health care providers such as:

Nurses
-
Primary health care physicians
-
General doctors
-
Clinical doctors
-
Pediatricians, Emergency Physicians, Residents and Medical students
-
Epilepsy Healthcare Specialists.
To reach the largest number of healthcare providers who are not able to
get training at medical workshops.
ESIC has organized a workshop in the cooperation of the Ministry of
Health, in Riyadh and Tabouk for this year.

Topics will be as following:
- Provoked or Non-Provoked
- Focal Epilepsy
- Generalized Epilepsies
- Status Epileptics
In
addition, a mini-workshop will be held on the same day in both Riyadh,
Tabouk from 4:00 PM – 6:00 PM, for nursing staff and Epilepsy care
nurses. Where they will discuss:

Dealing
with Epilepsy patients.

Managing Epilepsy
Patients from a Nurse Perspective.
Each attendant will get:
1 - Certificate of attendance accredited from the Saudi Commission
for Health Specialties (registration fees: SR 50 doctors – SR 25 for
non-doctors, Nursing, Residents and others).
2 – ESIC publications, in total of (10) brochures covering most
important epilepsy topics.
3 – (2) DVDs about the types of epilepsy and treatment methods.
4 – Free Lunch.
